Just few weeks back i talked about whether to expect Motorola Moto E 2nd generation or not. It got a very good response and many said that they are eagerly waiting for it. For those who are really waiting for Moto E 2nd generation announcement, we have a good news for you.

If rumors are to be believed, Motorola Moto E2 is right around the corner and Motorola is all set to launch it sometime within the first quarter of 2015. The specifications of the new Motorola Moto E 2nd generation, the successor of the Budget smartphone which was appreciated by both experts and users have been leaked and may feature a 64-bit processor.

Geekbench revealed that. Motorola seems to have gotten over their 32-bit processor,and are in favor of a 64-bit processor, as it does a superior job of handling the memory blocks of the device and support multitasking effortlessly. This would really boost gaming addicts who prefer running on a budget Smartphone.

As per the Rumors the new Moto E 2nd generation is likely to feature 4G LTE connectivity and will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. Here is the rumored Specs sheet:

Display: 4.5-inch qHD (960×540 pixels)
Processor: 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor
Camera: 5MP rear camera without LED Flash
Optical System: Android Lollipop 5.0

As a 2nd generation, we were expecting improved camera with LED flash which the 1st generation Moto E didn’t have. But again these specifications are rumors and likely to be true. There is no word on the other specifications like internal memory, but we can expect it to have will have at-least 8GB of internal storage.

The Release date is not confirmed yet but expect it in the first quarter of 2015. Moto E 2nd generation will look quite similar to the original Moto E and will have same form-factor with larger display. As far as Price is concerned, it will get similar price-tag i.e around Rs.7000 or $130 internationally.

  1. Hurrryyyyy, i was going to buy Moto E in 2015, but i m also thinking that “in 2015 there are many phones will come out in market which are better then the moto E like lenovo A6000”. But after read this page/news i ‘ll continue my choice whit Moto E 2nd gen Yaaaahhoooo ! 🙂
